Welcome to Journey Child and Family Therapy. My name is Dana Tiller and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have over 20 years of experience supporting children and families through their unique life journey's.

My experience includes working with children struggling with behavioral challenges at home and/or at school, anger, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, trauma, school related challenges and military connected children and families.

I believe relationship and connection are essential to helping people heal and change. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where children and their families feel valued and heard.

I use a variety of evidence based therapies. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy Techniques, Art Therapy Techniques and Solution Focused Therapy.

Having a positive, open relationship with your spouse and children is a key component to creating lasting change in the family dynamic. Journey Child and Family Therapy can guide and support creating a fun, strong family system.

Play is the child's language! Journey Child and Family Therapy will use play therapy techniques to allow all clients to express themselves in their own unique way. Art techniques, sand tray, board games and pretend play are a few methods used to engage children. (and adults!)

Life is a journey and there are many twists and turns on the path to wellness. Healing our hearts and minds is not linear, but is often a roller coaster of ups and downs. Journey Child and Family Therapy will walk beside you and support you on the path to healing.
